TWO new Silent Hill games allegedly on the works

Rumors keep raining (like this one) and the latest tells us that Konami is allegedly developing two new Silent Hill games. Yeah, you read it right… Not one but TWO new titles on the series. Is this for real? Check it out!

Well… Actually, no one knows until Konami make it official, and even then, nothing is ensured when it comes to a Silent Hill comeback. (based on the experience with the well known and missed “Silent Hills” which was cancelled even though the hype was huge as we never seen before regarding a Silent Hill title!)

Will we keep waiting just like James?

We’ve came across this [hope so] great news through Rely On Horror (Read the article here). Everything has started with the post AestheticGamer (gamer and streamer), made on his Twitter Account. According to him, not one but TWO Silent Hill games are being developed at the moment. One being a soft-reboot of the series and the second one a TellTale style game.

In other news while I’m dropping this stuff, and I think I can talk about this, I’ll mention there is a couple new Silent Hill games in the works. Konami about two years ago reached out to various developers to pitch ideas for two Silent Hill games, one a soft-reboot of the franchise, the other an episodic TellTale/Until Dawn-style game to go alongside the reboot. I don’t know anything more than that though, but I sure do hope Konami’s given it the appropriate budget and found the right developer to make those games succeed.

This is just a guess, but I’d say there’s a high chance one or both of those titles may be revealed this year, but we’ll see. I don’t actually know their plans or anything about these games other than their existence though, I don’t know much about the inner workings of Konami.

A lot has been said in these past few years since the last time we’ve heard news about the series whereabouts… But these words make our hopes high! We don’t know if this is related, in some ways, with the previous rumor about the series, no one knows really, but at least we keep hearing something that keep the fire lighting.
