HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SILENT HILL – What was your first experience on the series?

It was the year 1999, 23rd February, when the horror universe changed forever. The story of a father capable of anything to find his beloved daughter in a ghost town called Silent Hill, has marked the start of one of the most acclaimed survival horror videogames of all time. 25 Years have passed and it still thrills and scares so many. We hope 25 more years will come, of course with new adventures in the town of all fears.

To mark the 25th birthday of Silent Hill 1, we want to know when was YOUR first experience on the series. Doesn’t matter which entry was your first, just share with us your stories, we’d love to hear them!

“Considering ways to provide the next title” Says Konami

That’s it, after so many rumors, we finally got a word from Konami. Of course we shall not raise our hopes too high, but when questioned by PCGamesN, a Konami representative actually talked about the future of the series.

TWO new Silent Hill games allegedly on the works

Rumors keep raining (like this one) and the latest tells us that Konami is allegedly developing two new Silent Hill games. Yeah, you read it right… Not one but TWO new titles on the series. Is this for real? Check it out!

Will 2020 be the year of Silent Hill?

I still remember when, back in 2012, we had like 4 Silent Hill major releases: Silent Hill HD Collection (which ended up being a whole chaotic mess), Downpour, a brand new and promising take on the series. The strange “Book of Memories” for PS Vita and finally but not least, Revelation 3D, the second, and who knows, last installment of the movies adaptations.

Ito’s Bubble Head Nurses

In the past few months, there have been some high detailed sculted statues from some well known creatures from Silent Hill 2. Iam talking, of course, about Pyramid Head and Bubble Head nurses.

However, after the release of the classic versions of those statues, GECCO is releasing new alternate versions, such as Masahiro Ito’s one, a variant from the conventional Bubble Head with original differences such as ” Crimson thight-high boots” which recreates the classic look of the creature once designed by Ito himself, who wanted to keep her very true to the SH2 Original model face.

This is certainly, more than anything else, a piece of art worth getting, specially when it was designed by the creative mind behind Silent Hill most terrific creatures. Here’s a gallery with some captions of the statue
